Hummingbirds Choir (Grades 4 and 5)

• This ensemble is open to all 4th and 5th grade girls interested in learning how to sing. 

• The Hummingbirds perform in 4-6 concerts per year throughout Tucson.​

Rehearsal Time: Mondays, 6:15 pm -7:30 pm

*Rehearsals will begin virtually and we will transition to an outdoor space when weather allows*

Musical concepts include (but not limited to):​

• Building confidence singing in two and three part textures

• Development of appropriate vocal tone, intonation, and focus

• Identification of pitch names, rhythmic values, and other musical symbols

• Introduction to sight-singing using step-wise melodies

• Further development of solfege skills
