TGC Northwest Choir (Grades K-8)

• This ensemble currently serves girls in grades K-8 in Oro Valley, Marana, Catalina, and surrounding areas.

• This choir typically performs 4-6 concerts per year throughout Tucson, with an emphasis on performing for the Northwest community.

Rehearsal Time: Thursdays, 5:00-6:00 pm

*Rehearsals will begin virtually and we will transition to an outdoor space when weather allows*

Musical concepts include (but not limited to):

• Attentiveness during rehearsal

• Correct breath control and correct choral vowels

• Proper singing and rehearsing posture

• Singing in one and two part musical textures

• Introductory music reading skills
