HUMMINGBIRDS CHOIR (gr. 4–5)
The Hummingbirds Choir is open to all 4th and 5th grade girls interested in learning how to sing!
The Hummingbirds perform in 4-6 concerts per year throughout Tucson.
Musical concepts include (but not limited to):
Building confidence singing in two and three part textures
Development of appropriate vocal tone, intonation, and focus
Identification of pitch names, rhythmic values, and other musical symbols
Introduction to sight-singing using step-wise melodies
Further development of solfege skills
