HUMMINGBIRDS CHOIR (gr. 4–5)

The Hummingbirds Choir is open to all 4th and 5th grade girls interested in learning how to sing!

The Hummingbirds perform in 4-6 concerts per year throughout Tucson.​

Musical concepts include (but not limited to):​

• Building confidence singing in two and three part textures

• Development of appropriate vocal tone, intonation, and focus

• Identification of pitch names, rhythmic values, and other musical symbols

• Introduction to sight-singing using step-wise melodies

• Further development of solfege skills
