POP A CAPPELLA GROUPS
grades 6–12
TGC's pop groups, featuring a wide range of popular musical styles.
To join Pop A Cappella, all singers must complete a free placement with the conductor. This placement is intended to be a low-stress, casual way for the singer to get to know the conductor and for placement in either the Intermediate or Advanced level. Please fill out the interest form on this page and we will reach out to schedule the placement.

TGC's Pop A Capella Groups typically perform in 4-6 concerts per year throughout Tucson.

Cost:

$400 + $35 registration fee (includes TGC shirt)​

Scholarships available! TGC never turns away a singer because of financial need.

Musical concepts include (but not limited to):

Development of sight-singing skills

Development of vocal independence through learning multi-part repertoire

Stylistic knowledge of various genres within vocal jazz and a capella

Continued development of vocal technique, breath control, and effective rehearsal techniques
